together to an organic whole.Jacob Fischer,
b. 1967,is already known as one of the finest guitarplayers in Europe. He
has from his early teens played in numerous constellations on the Danish
jazzscene.
A virtuoso and versatile musician who effortlessly plays in different
styles - from Wes Montgomery over B.B. King to Django Reinhardt -while at
the same time putting his own mark on the music. Jacob Fischer has for many
years played with violinist legend Svend Asmussen, who calls him the best
guitarplayer he has ever heard.
Jacob has throughout the years played with all of the Danish jazzelite and
performed with such stars as Scott Hamilton, Toots Thielemans, Gary Bartz, Art
Framer, Jerry Bergonzi, Lee Konitz and John Abercrombie. He has performes
all over Eurpoe and participates on a great number of jazzalbums. He also
teaches at several distinguisted Danish and Swedish Conservatories.

Fischer has received all the Danish Jazzprizes - latest "Django d’Or"
- Jazz Performer of the Year (2001).
